Terms of Service

Using the Site

The Site describes our flooring, tile, bathroom, kitchen, and stair services in Richmond, Virginia and nearby areas, and lets you request an estimate or leave a review. Use it lawfully. Do not try to break, overload, or get into parts of the Site that are not meant for you, send spam, or submit false or harmful content.

Our service area and services may change. Being listed on the Site does not promise that we can take every job.

Estimates are not contracts

Requesting an estimate is free and does not create a contract. Any price, range, or timeline you see or hear before we visit is general information only. A price is binding only when we give it to you in writing after visiting your project, and only for the scope in that document. Work starts only after we both agree in writing.

Reviews you submit

• Your review must describe your own honest experience with us. Do not post content that is false, abusive, private, or illegal.
• You give us a free, non-exclusive license to display and quote your review, with your name as you wrote it, on the Site and on our business profiles and social media.
• We read every review before it appears. We may decline to publish, shorten, or remove a review.
• You can ask us to remove your review at any time.

Reviews from Thumbtack appear with the content the reviewer made public there.

Text messaging program

Program name: El Shaday Flooring customer texts

What messages you get. When you text our business number, we reply about your estimate request and project: scheduling a visit, asking for photos, and answering your questions. We do not send promotional or marketing texts.

How you join. You join by texting our business number, published on the Site. We only reply within conversations you started. Texting us is not required to request an estimate or to hire us; you can also reach us by phone, email, or the estimate form.

How often. Message frequency varies with your request: usually 1 to 7 messages per request.

Costs. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Stop. Reply STOP at any time to cancel. You will get one message confirming that you are unsubscribed, and no more texts after that. Reply START to join again.

Help. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at contact@elshadayflooring.com or 804-244-6579.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy. We do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.

Our content

The Site’s text, logo, design, and photos of our work belong to El Shaday Flooring or are used with permission. You may view them for personal use. Do not copy, republish, or use them commercially without our written permission. Photos show past projects; results depend on your home and materials.

Links to other sites

The Site links to services we do not run, such as Thumbtack, Google, Angi, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers and limit of liability

The Site and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Information on the Site is general and is not professional advice for your specific project. The work we do for you is covered only by the written agreement we sign with you.

To the extent the law allows, El Shaday Flooring is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages from your use of the Site. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, and it does not change what a written agreement for your project says.

Governing law

Virginia law governs these Terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may change these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date.
